Glass doors to each of the businesses were found broken early Monday morning.
UPDATE (May 8, 11:39 p.m.)— Police are investigating three business burglaries that occurred early Monday morning. Between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. on May 7, burglars broke the front glass doors of Domino's and Dry Clean 4 Less, adjacent businesses in the 8600 block of Belair Road. Both businesses were entered and cash was stolen from the dry cleaning business. Nothing else was taken, according to Officer Mark Dorsey of the Parkville precinct. Also on May 7, between 2:55 a.m. and 3:05 a.m., burglars broke the front glass door to Deniro's in the 9600 block of Belair Road and stole cash, according to a police report. County Councilman David Marks held a meeting on Friday to address recent burglaries in the Perry Hall area.
Updates were recorded live during the meeting. 4:05 p.m. County Councilman David Marks welcomed meeting guests and explained the purpose behind the meeting, to allow business owners and residents to ask questions about recent burglaries. He introduced commanders and officers from the White Marsh and Parkville police. 4:10 p.m. Capt. Michael Balog asked all attendees to introduce themselves. Most were homeowners, but some were business owners along Joppa Road and the Belair Road corridor. 4:12 p.m. Balog reminded attendees to call 911, which is more effective than calling the precinct directly, when they see something suspicious. County Councilman David Marks has scheduled a meeting to address recent burglaries in the Perry Hall area, with a focus on business burglaries along Belair Road. The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Feb. 24 at the Perry Hall Library. If weather closes public schools, the meeting will be postponed, Marks stated in an email. "The 4 p.m. time has been selected because the primary audience is business owners who may or may not live in Perry Hall," he stated.
