ReplyThe county council has the power of the purse.While they cannot increase the budget submitted by the the county executive, they are empowered to make cuts.Perhaps they should take a very careful look at k.k.'submitted budget,and get a sharp pair of sissors out for some serious cutting.Bruce schmickley

Replythis is a great bill.hopefully,in addition to the closer locations,developers will be required to hold such meetings in locations that will accommodate the public interested in the developement..Too often,these meetings have been held in facilities that lack adequate space to handle the number of participants,many of whom leave because of inadequate facilities.the white marsh public library is a good good example where overflow crowds have been observe...chuck marks.

ReplyOne of the answers to the increasing amount of graffetti is to increase the criminal penalties for these outrageous offences .Set the fines high,and jail time appropriately, and forget about probation before judgement that the district court judges seem to impose too frequency... The costs incurred to clean up this junk is expensive;and, the cost in the final analysis is paid for by increased insurance costs passed on the poliycholders...that means you and me..Chuck Marks

ReplyHaving served on the Baltimore County Board of Appeals for 9 terms, 2 of which were as Chairman,I saw many community plans come across the Board's jurisdiction where some sort of appeal was being raised.or where zoning issues were present.Having been a proud participatant in the design of this plan,along with many other interested individuals,this plan is one of the most through and comprehensive designs I have viewed in many years.Considerable credit must go to Donnell Zeigler and his staff for their long hours and assistance in the final preparation of this document.It will serve the residents of Perry Hall very competently in the years to come.Chuck Marks

I worked extensively with Chris when she was a principal in founding the Perry Hall Concert series,and in many Perry Hall Improvement Association activitesThere are so many among us that are willing give of their time and efforts in making Perry Hall,the " Spirit of Community. "Chris was a dynamic leader in everything that she did,and, as David has indicated ,touched so many of our lives in Perry Hall.We have all benefited from her generous gifts, of time, talent,and energy that make our community the pleasant place that it is to raise a family or live as an individual..Her final tribute will be when the Biblical are spoken to her for her life here on earth, " Well done thy good and faithful servant. "
