To be honest I was very surprised when Theresa said that you were a female, I was like.....you gotta be kidding. You can kind of tell....even in writing styles (not trying to be sexist) and your writing style was certainly not feminine. Hope I'm not offending anyone? Welcome back :) -

Well who knew? Jag's a woman......well good for him :). I would have to disagree with your left/right/black who did what scenario. The way I read it was that the author was saying that black left folks were beoming disenchanted with Obama. I guess I'm thinking more of what the actual people are feeling and not so much political pundits are saying.

Theresa,
Respectfully, using an opinion piece from a Liberal MSNBC contributor to counter an opinion piece from a Conservative blogger serves as another example of the problem we face. Concerning Mr. Jag......I instead like the notion that he and are on agreement that there are too many Weasel's "on any side of the political spectrum" as he said.

@ Serenity:
I agree....I think that's what I was trying to say, although I was perhaps a little long winded. I like your summation better :)

It appears that we agree that there are more than enough weasels to go around. Wouldn't it be nice to find a non-weasle :) -

Cheryl,
I think you and I are dancing around this issue. My original comments dealt with the authors view concerning the current occupier of the White House, his disenchantment personally and possibly a broader disappointment from a racial aspect. Again....I will state that most folks could see this coming.
Your racial background, my racial background and Obama's racial background should not have anything to do with anything, but yet it does and again........I'm not surprised. Obama is a politcian and nothing else which means self preservation and the parties dominance and that requires him to mingle with the rich & well connected..............surprise? It appears that the author and many people of color "may" have expected too much from the current occupier, it's not their fault.....they have been used as pawns in a age old game. I probably a little dense, but I'm still having trouble tying in your comments to the original subject.....no disrespect. -

"Right, but this article is based on assertions that aren't really fair."Firstly....thank you for agreeing
Secondly......my comment dealt with his assertions.
Thirdly.....who said life was fair. -

Well...not being familiar with the voting habits or blogs of Mr. Raynard Jackson, I went with the words he typed. My point was.....welcome to the world of disenchantment with elected leaders.....no matter which party, no matter what color. Being a senior type white man, I'm all too familiar with less than stellar characters. Mr. Jackson seems to be astonished by this, it's a new experience for some......I was trying to say......it's the norm, join the club. The current occupier of the White House is no different. -

Cheryl,
"Perhaps the writer is really comparing a bi-racial person to persons of one race."I enjoyed reading your comments, but respectfully I don't see the connection you make. I re-read the authors article several times and I see nothing concerning bi-racial or multi-racial issues. I do see a very upset person who seems to be disenchanted with the current occupier of the White House and for many reasons, but not the ones you mention. The Tiger Woods analogy was a comedian's routine to try to make an audience laugh.
