Franklin Square Hammer Assault, Road Rage On Honeygo: Police Blotter

PERRY HALL, MD — Police handled an assault with a hammer, a person charging with a knife and a road rage incident recently in greater Perry Hall.

The following reports were provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Police arrested someone who went to the 1000 block of Franklin Square Drive and tried to hit a person they knew with a hammer. First, the suspect destroyed items at the location. The assault occurred before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 7.

A person in Perry Hall was assaulted and robbed by someone known to the victim. Police said the suspect burglarized a home in the unit block of Laurel Path Court at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 4, then assaulted the victim and stole the person's phone.

A stranger charged at someone with a knife in the 9000 block of Franklin Square Drive on June 28 minutes before midnight. The suspect in the Rosedale assault was arrested, police said.

Someone flashed a handgun during a road rage incident on Honeygo Boulevard at White Marsh Boulevard. Police say they are still looking for the suspect in the White Marsh assault, which occurred after 2:45 p.m. on June 17.

A carjacking occurred in the 5300 block of Nottingridge Road in White Marsh at 3:45 p.m. on June 12. A man took someone's keys and then hit the person in the face before leaving in the vehicle, officials said. Police later arrested a Dundalk man, who was charged with assault, carjacking, robbery, theft and related offenses.

A pedestrian was attacked in the 9000 block of Ramblebrook Drive in Nottingham after 2 a.m. on June 11. Police said the suspect in the robbery demanded the person's phone, then left after a brief struggle.

After an argument, a woman hit two people with her car in Carney. Police said she tried to get away but was stopped by officers. The assault occurred in the 3000 block of Joppa Road at 1 a.m. on June 10.

Two people tried to burglarize a garage attached to a home in White Marsh. They left the property in the 5600 block of Country Farm Road after the homeowner startled them. The burglary occurred at 2:15 a.m. on June 7.

A burglary occurred in the unit block of Raylon Drive in White Marsh between 1:40 and 5:45 p.m. on June 5. Several items were stolen, officials said.

Four people stole a pizza from a food delivery driver in the 9100 block of Swiven Place in Rosedale. The robbery occurred at 12:40 p.m. on June 3.
