PERRY HALL, MD — The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is coming to Perry Hall.
The giant hot dog on wheels will be visiting the Baltimore metropolitan area this weekend, including a grocery store on Belair Road in Baltimore County.
Hot dogs fans are invited to show up for samples at these stops:
Spanning 27 feet, the Wienermobile is one of several currently crisscrossing the United States.
The first Wienermobile was created in 1936 by Carl Mayer. The 1952 Wienermobile is currently on exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich. In 1969, the Wienermobile featured Ford Thunderbird tail lights and a Chevy motor home frame.
Where's that wiener? Keep tabs on the Wienermobile meat fleet.
