NOTTINGHAM, MD — The BP off Campbell Boulevard sold a lottery ticket worth more than $15,000 recently, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The lotto player won $15,439.50 from a Racetrax ticket sold Thursday, Aug. 11, at the convenience store at 5250 Campbell Boulevard in Nottingham. Racetrax simulates horse racing. Authorities said the ticket had been claimed by Monday, Aug. 15.
This is not the first time someone has won big playing the lottery at the BP in Nottingham.
On New Year's Eve, a woman who calls herself "Rosedale mom" discovered she won $50,000 playing a scratch-off game that she also purchased at the retailer.
