NOTTINGHAM, MD — A movie theater near Perry Hall is screening “Grease” this weekend.
The 1978 film will be shown in tribute to one of its stars, Olivia Newton-John, who died earlier this month.
Many AMC theaters nationwide are playing the movie for $5 and donating $1 from each ticket sold to breast cancer research to honor Newton-John, AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron said in a statement.
Newton-John was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, according to People magazine.
“Grease” is showing at 6:20 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at AMC White Marsh 16, 8141 Honeygo Blvd. It will also play at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22.
He’s already messed up the schools more than ever. Johnny Cliche should resign, too, if he truly cared about Baltimore County. He is one of the worst leaders you will ever see.
