Baltimore County Police have charged 43-year-old Joseph Vickery with possession of explosive devices, and intent to distribute illegal firearms.

According to police, officers were notified of an individual in possession of bomb-making materials residing in Baltimore County. Officers say that as part of this investigation, detectives located the vehicle containing an explosive device at Pine Grove middle school.

“It does not appear that the school was the intended target during this incident.” Police said.

Police say the arrest at Whitehead Ct. was related to bomb-making materials located in a room at the Rodeway Inn in Gwynn Arm Maryland.

39-year-old Kristen Vickery was also arrested in connection to this investigation. She was charged with possession of “controlled dangerous substances” with intent to distribute, according to police.

Both are currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
