WHITE MARSH - Baltimore County has scheduled a public input meeting later this month to discuss a proposal to build 516 new apartments adjacent to White Marsh Mall in the former Sears site.
The plans were released earlier this month, and show a large complex that will include two parking garages, a pool, and an activity center. Specific details for the project such as the price of the apartments and their layout have not yet been made available.
Some community groups have shared the project's link on Facebook, and have cited concerns such as increased traffic and school overcrowding.
The community input meeting is scheduled for November 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Community Christian Church auditorium, located at 8009 Corporate Drive in Nottingham.
The plans for the project have recently been made public, but are not available for viewing on the Baltimore County website because the file is too large. Residents who are interested can contact Project Manager John Krach for a copy of the plan.
