PERRY HALL - Forty Baltimore County Public Schools students have been accepted into the Maryland Music Educators Association‘s 2023 All-State Ensembles. Sixteen of those students are from Perry Hall High School.
The sixteen Perry Hall singers make up the most significant number of students from any school in the county, demonstrating excellence in the program.
“All State Ensembles represent the pinnacle of music achievement in the state of Maryland,” said Dr. Brian K. Schneckenburger, BCPS supervisor of music and dance education. “The audition process is highly competitive and is the culmination of many years of commitment and preparation. These selected students embody the musical excellence that is fostered every day in our BCPS schools. Congratulations to these students, their families, and their teachers.”
Twelve schools will represent Baltimore County in the All-State Ensemble, including Catonsville, Dulaney, George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, Hereford, Patapsco, Perry Hall, Pikesville, and Towson high schools and Parkville, Perry Hall, and Ridgely middle schools.
The ensembles will gather to learn and perform with other music students from around Maryland.
