BALTIMORE COUNTY - Longtime Baltimore County police officer Kieth Fruhling has been promoted to commander of Precinct 8.
The 21-year BCPD veteran will serve the citizens of Parkville and surrounding municipalities in the 21234 zip code: Overlea, Hampton, Carney, and parts of Perry Hall. Fruhling will take over from former Precinct 8 Commander Brian Edwards, who assumed the position last year.
Fruhling has been prolific in his work with Baltimore County police. Throughout his tenure, he has served as a midnight officer on a patrol shift, worked as a patrol sergeant, was a K-9 unit commander, and was assigned to BCPD’s Hostage Negotiation Team. He has also worked in the Parkville precinct as a patrol officer for the past six years.
Police work seems to run in the Fruhling family. Kieth’s brother, Capt. Michael Fruhling is the current commander for precinct 9 in nearby White Marsh.
...still safer than just walking around in Baltimore....
Patchy rain possible, with a high of 76 and low of 55 degrees. Sunny in the morning, partly cloudy in the afternoon, clear overnight.
Why are these parks and trails not clean or broken down, Johnny? Is it the clients you are bringing to this community? When you ‘give’ things to people that haven’t worked hard for something, there is no pride in the upkeep.
Where was Johnny Cliche? See Johnny, it’s about determination and resilience. That’s what makes you successful. Johnny would have talked about diversity, equity, and entitlement. It’s about hard work, Johnny.
