BALTIMORE COUNTY - Two More Wawa locations are coming to eastern Baltimore County.
The gas station chain, well-loved for its sandwiches, is expected to build stores on Belair Road in the Overlea area and Pulaski Highway in Rosedale.
According to Wawa, the Rosedale location will open this summer on 66th street. The location will be only 3 miles from an existing Wawa on Rossville Boulevard and less than three miles from a Wawa in Canton.
Wawa has yet to announce dates for the Belair Road store, but Baltimore County Councilman David Marks confirmed that the chain is opening a location on Putty Hill Avenue.
The former site of Ryan's Relics was recently cleared to make way for the new Wawa.
Rosedale resident Thomas Brower captured photos of the now-empty lot.
"Man they actually did it. They tore down the old Ryan's Relic's and back in the day Lorenzo's bar down," Brower wrote. "Located at Putty Hill and Belair Road. This place had been here for around 100 years!
