BALTIMORE COUNTY - David Linthicum, the Cockeysville man accused of shooting two Baltimore County Police Officers during a manhunt earlier this year, is scheduled to stand trial on November 2, 2023.
During a court hearing on April 20, Linthicum’s trial date was set, and he was denied bail. He is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson.
Linthicum is facing three charges of attempted murder stemming from a manhunt that lasted nearly 48 hours and stretched across parts of Baltimore and Harford Counties.
The manhunt began on February 8, after Baltimore County Police responded to a call for a person in distress at a home on Powers Avenue in Cockeysville. Once police arrived, Linthicum allegedly shot through a basement door, striking one of the officers. He is also accused of shooting a second officer during the ensuing search.

Why are these parks and trails not clean or broken down, Johnny? Is it the clients you are bringing to this community? When you ‘give’ things to people that haven’t worked hard for something, there is no pride in the upkeep.
Where was Johnny Cliche? See Johnny, it’s about determination and resilience. That’s what makes you successful. Johnny would have talked about diversity, equity, and entitlement. It’s about hard work, Johnny.
