17-Year-Old Shot And Killed In Baltimore County On Sunday: Police

BALTIMORE COUNTY - A 17-year-old was shot and killed in Overlea on Sunday night, according to Baltimore County Police.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on Belair Road at Rossville Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday. After arriving on the scene, police found 17-year-old Elias Cieslak suffering from a gunshot wound.

The young man was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call detectives at 410-307-2020. Information may also be provided through iWATCH.

They closed a police station 1/8 of a mile from this intersection.    1 1/2 to city line where shootings in the city section or Belair Rd has shootings daily.  If the county has a shortage  of officers it would seem I should be able to carry because the county can’t protect me
