PERRY HALL - A smash and grab early this morning left the Exxon gas station in Essex destroyed, according to Baltimore County Police.
Police said that around 1:45 a.m. this morning, a group of suspects crashed their vehicle into the Exxon gas station in the 100 block of Back River Neck Road. Officials said that cash and property were stolen.
Fox 45 reports that there were five people in the car, and they tried to steal the ATM but were unable to move it.
The incident remains under investigation.
