TOWSON, MD - Baltimore County's second bulk item collection program of the year is set to kick off in July, continuing through December.
Postcards detailing collection dates are being sent to residents, with additional information available in the annual Program Guide and Collection Schedule, by contacting the Bureau of Solid Waste Management at 410-887-2000 or by using the address search function on the county's website.
Launched in 2022, the county's bulk item collection service provides two free scheduled collections annually for single-family homes and townhouses. The county advises residents to put out their bulk items the evening before their scheduled collection day and to leave them there until they are collected. Collection services are performed by two different trucks - one for scrap metal and one for other items - which may not show up simultaneously. Each bulk collection day has a maximum limit of three items.
Further information about the program, including the list of restricted items and setup instructions, can be accessed on the Bureau of Solid Waste Management's website.
Residents can still drop off bulk items at the County's designated facilities throughout the year, free of charge (a maximum of six loads per year; prior disposal authorization might sometimes be required).
...still safer than just walking around in Baltimore....
Patchy rain possible, with a high of 76 and low of 55 degrees. Sunny in the morning, partly cloudy in the afternoon, clear overnight.
Why are these parks and trails not clean or broken down, Johnny? Is it the clients you are bringing to this community? When you ‘give’ things to people that haven’t worked hard for something, there is no pride in the upkeep.
Where was Johnny Cliche? See Johnny, it’s about determination and resilience. That’s what makes you successful. Johnny would have talked about diversity, equity, and entitlement. It’s about hard work, Johnny.
