WHITE MARSH - Baltimore County Police said they charged six adolescents in connection to a car fire in a shopping area of White Marsh last week.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on May 17th near the 5300 block of Campbell Boulevard. According to police, fireworks were thrown at a car, causing it to ignite.
The suspects allegedly fled the scene, tossing un-lit fireworks into a nearby Chipotle restaurant as they escaped.
A tip from an eyewitness enabled officers to detain six youngsters after the fire.
FOX45 News reports that the suspects are aged 13 or 14.
The apprehended teens face various charges, including property damage and breach of peace.
After the incident, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company confirmed via their social media account that two of their fire engines were dispatched to the location.
