BALTIMORE COUNTY - Baltimore County authorities have confirmed the arrest of Kenneth Davis, 32, who is suspected to be responsible for the fatal shooting of Tracey Elizabeth Carrington, a former basketball player at Morgan State University.
The incident occurred on Sept. 6, 2018, as Carrington was departing from a bar.
On Wednesday, Baltimore County Police said that they had brought murder charges against Davis in connection with the killing of Carrington.
The 25-year-old victim was gunned down as she entered her car on Overlea Avenue after leaving an establishment in the 6900 block of Belair Road.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Carrington had witnessed a double homicide and was expected to testify as a witness for the prosecution in a case involving the murders of two men at a Towson apartment complex in April.
Davis is currently in custody at the Maryland Correctional Training Center.

Why are these parks and trails not clean or broken down, Johnny? Is it the clients you are bringing to this community? When you ‘give’ things to people that haven’t worked hard for something, there is no pride in the upkeep.
Where was Johnny Cliche? See Johnny, it’s about determination and resilience. That’s what makes you successful. Johnny would have talked about diversity, equity, and entitlement. It’s about hard work, Johnny.
