Two Juveniles Arrested And Charged In Connection To Essex Shooting: Police

BALTIMORE COUNTY - Baltimore County Police announced on Sunday the apprehension of two juveniles in relation to a shooting incident in front of Sandalwood Elementary School in Essex last Friday.

The pair have been charged as adults for attempted murder and committing a felony violent crime using a firearm. They are currently being detained at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.

According to police, the two suspects were also victims of the shooting.

The police response was prompted by a call received around 8:10 p.m. on Friday, reporting a shooting incident on the 900 block of South Marlyn Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found the two youths suffering from gunshot injuries. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, police said.

Baltimore County investigators are appealing for any information related to the case.
