PERRY HALL - Perry Hall High School Principal Craig Reed will step down from his current role to serve as BCPS' Executive Director for High Schools.

Baltimore County Board of Education member Julie Henn announced on Wednesday that Reed was selected to fill the critical position. Reed took over as principal of PHHS in 2019, following the retirement of Andrew Last, who had served from 2014 until 2019.

Henn recognized Reed's impact, stating, "Perry Hall has benefited greatly from Principal Reed's leadership. We're fortunate that he will remain in close proximity." She further expressed her appreciation for Reed's communication and collaboration with her and Baltimore County Councilman David Marks.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks congratulated Reed and said he eagerly awaits collaborating with the next principal.
