WHITE MARSH - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Division (MDOTSHA) has scheduled repairs for portions of westbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway) near Ebenezer Road in White Marsh starting Friday, August 11.

The maintenance project is set to span two weekends and aims for completion by August 21, depending on the weather conditions.

Starting from 9 p.m. on August 11 and August 18, drivers will encounter temporary dual lane restrictions on the westbound side of US 40 near Ebenezer Road. Traffic will be diverted to a singular lane during these periods.

Maintenance activities are planned from 9 p.m. on Fridays till 5 a.m. on the following Mondays. Should there be any weather-related delays, the subsequent weekend of August 25 will be used for the repairs.

Those commuting via westbound US 40 between Joppatowne and White Marsh should anticipate delays and are advised to consider MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) as a potential detour.

The project contractor, Gray & Son, Inc. from Timonium, will deploy arrow indicators, traffic cones, and barrels to ensure a safe passage through the affected areas.
