Free School Supplies, Haircuts, and More: Amazon Hosts Back-to-School Extravaganza For Baltimore Area Students

BALTIMORE COUNTY - Amazon is organizing a Back-to-School drive to equip 10,000 Baltimore City and Baltimore County students with essential educational supplies for the upcoming academic year.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 26, from noon to 4 p.m. at Baltimore's Robert C. Marshall Recreation Center.
Amazon is offering more than just backpacks and school essentials. Additional amenities at the extravaganza include complimentary haircuts, face-painting stations, a variety of food trucks, community and healthcare information booths, and live performances.
Staff from Amazon's Baltimore-area Fulfillment Centers and Delivery Stations will serve as the hosts for the day.
Attendees can also expect special guest appearances and the chance to engage in conversations with officials from Baltimore City and Baltimore County Public Schools and representatives from Baltimore City Recreation & Parks and Amazon itself.
