CARNEY - Baltimore County Public School officials are investigating a physical altercation involving a parent that injured a bus driver on Tuesday.

According to a letter sent to parents, the incident occurred after school at a designated bus drop-off point for Harford Hills Elementary School.

Officials have yet to detail the specifics of the confrontation but noted that the bus driver required medical care after the incident.

Harford Hills Principal Leslie Stepney stated that the school's guidance counselor will be available to assist students who may require emotional support due to witnessing the incident.
