Bomb Threat Made Against All Baltimore County Public Schools: Police
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD - Police said they are investigating a Tuesday bomb threat made against all Baltimore County Public Schools.
"[The Baltimore County Police Department] is investigating the potential threats made alleging explosive devices have been placed in all BCPS schools," the agency announced on Facebook at 10:46 a.m. "Our SROs will be working closely with school administrators throughout the day to ensure the safety of all students and staff."
Officers did not mention any school evacuations or if they found any credible threats. BCPS has not yet commented publicly on the threats.
Parents commenting on the police department's post said a school email alerted them of the situation just before 10 a.m.
Authorities have not given any further updates.
